Fairbairn Park, Ascot Vale Victoria 3032

A fairly large off lead park that runs along the Maribyrnong River. The river's quite deep and wide at this point so don't venture in unless you're a confident swimmer (I'm not). There are sports fields that are often in use but there are still loads of grass areas available to have a run off lead and chase other dogs.I always find a few friendly dogs and humans here. 

At night there's a light near the car park that illuminates a small section of the park so your human can still see the ball (and fetch it when you don't want to). There's a nice path you can walk along which is next to the river and quite a few people use this path to walk their dogs. I prefer to just run with other dogs and chase balls on the grassy fields.
